Last week we soaked in the waters of Idaho Springs Last week we soaked in the waters of Idaho Springs, navigated a trail to a scenic mountaintop lake, celebrated a joining together in marriage, and visited family and friends we hadn't seen in over a decade. 🏔️ I loved every minute and cried when I left. In the wise words of Winnie the Pooh, "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." 💗 💬 Do you cry at goodbyes?
If you could let go of one thing in your life, wha If you could let go of one thing in your life, what would it be? I did a brain dump of everything I was doing. From laundry to writing devotions. Taking Minnie for walks to painting bunnies. I included things I wanted to be doing, goals, and dreams I had. After 20 minutes of writing, I noticed a pattern. The things that were tiring me out were things that I thought I "should" be doing. I can't release all of them, but some I can. The voice of "should" can be loud and demanding. But let's not let "should" boss us around. 💗

In preparation for Resurrection Sunday, a behind t In preparation for Resurrection Sunday, a behind the scenes story based on Colossians 2:15. It Is Finished And having disarmed the powers and authorities, [Jesus] made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. COLOSSIANS 2:15 (NIV) “It is finished,” Satan gloated. “Now Jesus will know the heart of man, and we can be done with this charade.” A demon asked, “Judas really did it? Betrayed Jesus for 30 coins?” “You doubted my plan? You’ll answer for that.” He leered at the one who spoke. The demon quavered, “So what happens next?” “Once Jesus realizes Judas betrayed him, it will be Sodom and Gomorrah for the whole world. Maybe He’ll start over, like He did at the flood. I don’t know. I can play this game as long as He can.” “Let’s go! I’ve got some tormenting to do.” Satan found Jesus in a garden. Reminds me of Eve’s, but less lush. He hissed, “Did God really say?” Jesus cried, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” An angel appeared. Satan looked to him, “Is Jesus ready to return to heaven?” The angel ignored him and embraced Jesus, bringing comfort and strength to His frame. Jesus called out to God as droplets of blood poured from His pores. Jesus must know Judas is coming. Defeat is inevitable. Jesus woke the disciples.“Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.” Judas led a crowd through the trees, approached Jesus, and greeted Him. “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” Satan looked to Peter, “Now’s your chance to prove to Jesus you’re His favorite.” “Shall we attack?” Peter drew his sword, missed the servant’s head, but sliced off his ear. “Permit even this” Jesus said, And He touched his ear and healed him. Jesus faced the crowd, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs? When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.” “That’s me,” Satan puffed up his chest, “the power of darkness. Another disloyal follower will force Jesus to show His power.” Continue reading at crystalstorms.me/it-is-finished/
